Cause not all candy is created equal. Peppermints aren't the same as fun-dip and pixie-sticks definitely kick the ass of candy bars.

[ He paused and looked over seriously. ]

Unless they have a cookie center. Then the candy bar wins.

[ But when he's settled he glances from the candy to Matthew and tries to figure out if its the candy that's making Matthew glowy or if he's just like that. ]

Swimmer, same, same and I went to this little spot near the creek cause it was quiet and no one ever went there. It was sort of my spot until the...accident.

[ He rolled the candy around his mouth and reached up to gently turn Matthews face over so he could really see him. ]

You need to find things to do here to take up time or you're gonna go nuts.

They're all amazing in different ways!

[ Matthew has never met anything edible that he didn't absolutely enjoy so this trying to differentiate different classes of candy as superior really won't work on him.

He looks at Noah when the other turned his face and he lifts his shoulders. ]

What kind of things are there? There's not really anything that I'd do at home here.

[ Well, Ronan's here but he can be busy just like when they weren't here. ]

Nope. You can't convince me of that. I've never met a grape flavored candy I liked.

[ True, but it didn't make the different candy classes wrong!

Oh damn. Did Ronan realize how well he had actually done in creating Matthew? He was all...

He was like a cuter, more vibrant version of Noah. A new shiny thing. ]

I...well most options Ronan would kill me for suggesting.

[dreamthing]

I've never met a grape flavored candy I didn't like.

[ Matthew retorts and it's silly banter, very Matthew like thing to banter about and all.

He tilts his head then. ]

I don't think he'd kill you. What options?

[ Okay, Matthew, you're adorable, but grape candy is not delicious.

And yes, they're really having this talk.

But then he does this adorable head tilt thing, and Noah sits up so that they're eye level.

He considered those options, and considered the others words; Ronan would definitely kill him. Toss him out another window but for real this time. ]

Well...

[ Leaning forward, he nosed in against him, close, close, close...considered...and then he kissed him. ]

[ Agree to disagree!

Matthew's unaware of the shift in the energy of the room. It's not that he can't feel it but that he wouldn't know really how to put a name to it, not really.

For some reason Matthew felt like his breath got short as the other leaned in, the soft brush of his nose and Noah's so close. What is he doing?

But as their lips connected, Matthew's simple thoughts fade away. He pressed back into the other's kiss some. While he might not be totally inexperienced anymore a kiss like this? He's never had this before. ]

[ It was meant to just be a sweet thing. An example of sorts because that was the sort of thing they had all resorted to here. But when Matthew leans into it even that little bit, Noah has to fight the urge to press further.

He needs to be smart about it. Ronan wouldn’t like this.

But somehow his hands still reach up to cradle the younger blonds face and pulls him down with him on the bed, kissing him again; the different candy tastes mingling for a moment before he breaks it.]

Uhm. Something...like that happens a lot here...

[dreamthing]

[ Matthew somehow expected the kiss to end. He could taste Noah on his lips and he tasted sweet and Matthew liked that a lot. He doesn't resist Noah, trusting him fully and it's easy to be pulled down like that. His hands had remained idle but his fingers itched to do something.

He settles on brushing his fingers over the other's arm in a light touch. ]

Kissing friends?

[ Noah settles, and part of him allows himself to enjoy that lighter touch. Touch without a real attachment...

He watches Matthews face and nods after a moment, tongue licking lightly over his bottom lip. ]

Yeah. That happens a lot...

Just because there’s nothing else to do?

[ It seems like a weird hobby to Matthew even if kissing Noah had felt really good and made him feel warm all over.

Why is Noah’s tongue so hard to ignore? Matthew’s eyes keep getting drawn to Noah’s mouth and he can’t seem to stop it. ]

It felt good... I haven’t done that a lot.

Because it's the only real good thing to enjoy in between the bad things that happen here. We get broken, and then we help put each other back together...

[ Noah can feel Matthews attention and right now he isn't sure if he wants to not indulge in it. Everything has been so weird lately...he hasn't felt like he really has a place anymore. He feels...alone again, the way he did before.

But he doesn't talk about that. He pretends everything is fine. It's easier that way.

Reaching up he brushed a finger over the younger boys bottom lip. ]

Just be careful when you do...not everyone is nice to be with. Okay?

How could it be the only thing?

[ Matthew can find sunshine anywhere so it’s hard for him to really understand but nothing too terrible has happened to him yet. He doesn’t know what could happen and even if someone told him the gravity of the situation he probably still wouldn’t really get it.

Why does that finger on his lip make him shiver when he’s not even cold? ]

I haven’t met anyone that’s not been nice. Even Kavinsky was nice to me.

[ Oh lord, Matthew. ]

I suppose it's not... Considering we have Ronan, it can't be that bad. But, I haven't found much else to be happy about here other than the fact that I'm alive again. If this counts as being alive at all...

[ The mention of Kavinsky makes him drop his hand. He wants to warn him off of that particular good-time, but he can't. Not really, not without being a hypocrite. ]

No, be careful of Kavinsky, too. That isn't 'niceness', its manipulation. It's fun. And it's dangerous. I don't recommend it, but I know you'll do what you want to. I can't make you stay away anymore than I could make myself do it.

Of course it counts as being alive!

[ Matthew’s eyes are wide. There is nothing about Noah that seems dead to him. He’s nice and warm and a lot of other things. Those all mean you’re alive in his book. If they didn’t? Would Matthew even count as alive here or anywhere else? ]

It seems nice to me.

[ It’s hard for Matthew to see manipulation. ]

Do you want to do it again?

[ He had been bored after all. ]

[ It's a sweet sentiment but sometimes Noah does wonder if it really counts. He's been gone for a long, long time.

Matthew is more real than he is, even now.

His heart sinks a little, a stupid ache still there but he decides to just let it go... Whatever is going to happen will happen, and Ronan will deal with it. Noah isn't getting in the middle of those messes ever again.

But he does pause...chuckling softly. ]

You can kiss me whenever you want.

[dreamthing]

That's not an answer.

[ Even Matthew knows permission isn't the same thing as wanting something. He looks at Noah a smile on his lips. ]

Do you wanna?

[ Well. Hell.

Noah resists for another moment. This isn’t the worst life choice he’s made since coming here so...

He nods and reaches for the younger Lynch again. ]

Yeah. You always have permission and I’ll always want to, so...

[dreamthing]

[ Matthew's smile only brightens then. He trusts that Noah wouldn't lie to him. As much as he can trust in people not telling him lies anymore after discovering Ronan had.

He leans in and his hand traces over the other's arm as he finds his lips against Noah's in a soft kiss. ]

[ It’s a soft, tentative thing but Noah reaches for him and pulls until more of him is pressed against him. The little bit of weight, the warm, real feel of him...Noah would never hurt Matthew. He is going to drown himself in him for a while, though.

Defy fingers slide into blond curls and he breathes a soft sound against his mouth; lips parting again to deepen the kiss. Teeth gently nip at lips, asking for permission to take more. ]

[ Matthew is relaxed and every moment of the kiss is just as good as candy. Apparently this sort of affection is just another thing he'll be gluttonous about. He's trying to figure out what to do with his hands, squeezing on the other's arm for a brief moment.

Lips open as the other's teeth tease at this lips, warm sparks and tingling. This feels really good, Matthew kisses Noah with enthusiam. His other hand moves to cup the other's face. ]

[ That's something they would be equals over. Noah needs this sort of thing in his life, especially after years of never being able to touch someone else.

The kiss turns from something gentle and sweet, testing, to something else. Something that makes him sigh a little in his throat and reach for him, pulling Matthews body closer, but he has more clothes on than Noah does so it's not exactly what he wants. Fingers curl at the hem of his shirt and tug it up high enough to feel along his sides; so warm... ]

[ Everything begins to feel different. It's a little more urgent, a new need that Matthew doesn't fully comprehend yet. Even with now having a little experience he isn't on any drug right now -- just Noah. He shifts closer at the pull, something in him wanting that. It's like he can feel heat coming off Noah and it's magnetic.

He would have expected to feel ticklish when Noah touched his sides but... while there is some of that ticklishness there's more a tingle and a desire. Being touched like that -- people didn't do that with Matthew. He hadn't ever known he'd wanted someone to.

There's a shiver that goes through him but he reluctantly parts from the kiss but it's just to pull off his shirt, his cheeks a light pink. he doesn't give himself time to think, though, going in to kiss Noah again before he could think through this too much. Hands go to Noah's sides, wanting to feel what he had felt, hoping he could make Noah feel that same pleasure. ]

[ When Matthew pulls away, Noah resists the urge to chase him; instead watching him shuck his shirt. There isn't any hesitation when he kisses him again and Noah wonders for a moment if...Matthew had more experience than everyone thought he did. It felt like he might...

Thinking stopped, though and he shifted, deciding chasing was exactly what he wanted to do. He pushed just enough to roll them so that Matthew was below him, the kiss turning a little hungrier than he had originally intended, greedy, curious hands roving over soft skin. For a while he forgot himself, and that this was Ronan's little brother; one hand straying between the younger boys legs to palm him through whatever pants he was wearing.

But, omg, wait... ]

...I'm sorry. I...Is this okay? I don't want to uhm...upset you?

[dreamthing]

[ Matthew had just a tiny bit of experience but he also didn't have an ounce of shyness or shame in him really. So it's easy to give into this good feeling because if it felt good it couldn't be bad, right? And he can trust Noah. So he kisses him and his mind is empty of anything but the feel of their lips, of Noah's weight.

He could follow Noah's lead, following the way his kiss changed. Noah's hunger called out to a hunger inside of Matthew. Hands on his skin made it heat, drawing a low moan from him, the moan getting more full against Noah's mouth when the other's hand pressed against the sweats he's wearing against the arousal that'd been forming with all the kissing and contact.

Noah's breathless when their lips part and he licks his as he looks up at Noah a little confused as to why he'd stopped. This felt good, right? ]

I'm not upset! This feels good...really good. [ His cheeks are flushed and his breath still not normal. He lifts his hips up a little bit an instinctive invitation. Apparently some primal instincts are intact with him. ]

[ Matthews hips lift and Noah’s eyes lid a little in pleasure at the reaction. This was a dangerous game to be playing but Noah was desperately clawing for something. He needed this. He needed the closeness and the warmth and to be touched. And he was avoiding the others because he wasn’t sure any more.

Nosing only again, he caught the younger mouth again; biting playfully at his lips because he could. He tasted as sweet as he looked and Noah did have a soft spot for sweets.

His fingers curled, squeezing carefully along the shape hidden beneath the fabric of the others sweats; palming the feel of him a few times before finally pulling his hand back enough to slid it beneath the waistband and anything else just so he could get a real feel—He gasped quietly and broke the kiss again without parting. ]

Promise me you’ll tell me to stop if you don’t want something, okay?
