[ First of all, he rolls his eyes a little - Kaz apparently could be secretive to a point but no further it seems. Not that he really minds, the more information is shared amongst them the closer they get to figuring the mess out.

His voice is still a bit rough thanks to what the VO had done to him but she wouldn't know the difference. ]

No, no, it's okay. If you'd asked me a week earlier, I'd probably have ignored this all together but no, it's okay to talk now.

[ He sounds amused actually. ]

I'll...yeah, I'll come to you. Give me a few. Gotta feed the dragon.

[Once he's done that, he shows up at Hella Shorty's and immediately seeks her out. They've never actually met, but he knows who she is.

His smile is soft, small scars surround his mouth where his mouth was sewn shut on the island but he doesn't mind them aesthetically at least. He flicks his hood off his head and nods at her. ]

[Waverly totally missed her window to adopt a dragon and might still be absently pouting about it by the time Noah arrives. When he does, she turns and smiles with a nod.]

Noah, right? Kaz mentioned something about you being connected to someone?

[It seems like the biggest lead, and wants to know if it fits into some of her other theories.]

[ Lucky for her, the dragon insisted on coming along. He no longer needed the little chain leash he had him on before; he knew where he belonged and always came home. The pale grey dragon peered up at her from Noah’s feet before he flapped enough to get on his shoulder for a better look at her.

Noah nodded again. Swallowed and got as comfortable as he could given the topic. ]

Yeah. It was a literal connection, too, actually. When I blacked out and the vision came first I saw the monsters. Horrible things. Worse than the ones we usually see, I guess. Nightmare worthy?

[ He idly brushed his fingers over his throat. ]

But he was worst than them. Not outwardly. I didn’t get a look at his face or anything cause he was wearing a hooded cloak. It’s hard to explain but he just felt like pure evil. That thick, heavy, suffocating mixture of fear, pain, hopelessness all wrapped up into one being.

[ He looked at her and his eyes narrowed briefly. ]

It’s like I told Kaz. He was laughing like he’d won something. Conquered it. I think he’s after Lucifers throne. At least if they’re not working together.

Always a consideration. I don't think Lucifer's above playing both sides of the field to win our loyalty.

[She's not sure she'll be able to one hundred percent trust him, even if she does empathize with him on occasion.]

The Order has also been trying to summon something for a while, but maybe they finally did.

[Also not comforting.]

Could you tell if he seemed humanoid? Or was he more monster shaped? Could you tell?

[ Noah remembered a time when he tried to befriend Lucifer. To give him the benefit of the doubt. But too many things keep adding up and after being tortured, his thoughts aren’t that high in his favor.

But he looks past her at nothing and tries to focus on the memory. ]

…humanoid. He didn’t seem like a monster from the outside. From what I could tell. But inside he was nasty as fuck.

[ Slowly he looked back at her. ]

I am worried about one thing, though. Most of the others ended up with markings or tattoos. I didn’t get any of that. I’m scared that I was forced to drink mine and that the connection is still there. Just. I don’t know. Dormant.

I didn't get marked either.

[She's not sure if that's meant to be a reassurance or a point of commonality and something of a concern for herself, but she'll put it out there.

But humaniod. Hmmm. If what Noah saw was Leviathan, maybe it's more the demon than it is the abomination. Or maybe Noah saw Asmodeus instead.]

But I also didn't get any visions. The Veiled Order was mostly using me as a power source.

Power source?

[ Noah asked curiously.

And she wasn’t marked.

To be honest, there probably wasn’t any reassurance any of them could get at this point. They were never going to be safe. Never going to not be used. That’s just the way of it.

Some of them were just built to offer different things. ]

I think I was used because I’m empathic. I think that’s why they made me feel him. But the bigger why, I don’t know.

I'm an angel. Well, half-angel, but it means I have angel blood.

[If he was here for Lucifer's last dinner, he probably can gather what went down with Waverly, so she's going to try avoid elaborating if she doesn't have to.]

Have you felt him since? Had any feelings that aren't your own or anything like that?

To be honest, I’m not sure. I’ve spent most of the time back trying to pretend that I wasn’t as effected as I was. Watching my friends worry about me every second wasn’t what I wanted, you know?

Anyway, if I had, I’m not sure if it was really him or if it was just the nightmares of it.

[ His brow furrows. ]

I’ll be more aware now, though. If anything changes I’ll let you know. Just in case that’s uhm. Significant.

You never know. All kinds of things turn up being clues.

[She's trying to piece together the feelings he felt with what she already knows and she's not sure there's a definitive conclusion. She wants to give him her presumed theories, see if there's anything he remembers that might lend to either one, but she knows she probably shouldn't skew the evidence.

In the end, she decides to put it in his hands as she reaches for a bottle of whiskey that she's prepared to share.]

Absolutely.

[ He eyes the whiskey bottle briefly before Richard (the dragon) decides he's waited long enough and crawls over to say hello to her properly. ]

Richard...don't pester the the pretty lady...

[Nope, Waverly's just going to brighten instantly when Richard comes closer, lifting her finger to scritch under his chin.]

No, that's okay. Do you want to come solve the case too?

[He's more than welcome to come with her. She does notice Noah eyeing the whiskey, so she grabs a second glass and tips her head to the side.]

C'mon. Sometimes it's easier if you see it.

[ Richard just soaks up the attention and makes it known by making some huffy gurgling noises that he is more than happy to stay right there. ]

See it?

Oh yeah. I've got it all spread out on a wall over there.

[She points to one of the side rooms that she set up expressly for this purpose.]

I'm better at digesting information visually.
